Phipps Point Today and Yesteryear

The video shows a stroll around what was once a beehive of activity by the Savoie family on Hornby Island.

Here are a couple of images from Phipps Point taken in the 1960s by my father, George as well as a “Tariff of Rates” which we found on one of the old ferries. It shows the ferry fares for the Hornby – Denman Island ferry in 1964.
